Early 2013-2014 Snowfall Predictions!

I came across the first bit of exciting news concerning weather for this upcoming winter! The blog post from the guys at aspenweather.net is indicating that this winter has a good probability of being normal or above normal for snowfall! Check out an excerpt:

Hello Everybody,

Guess what I did yesterday.  I looked at more statistics than is humanly
possible regarding my ‘Winter Outlook’ later in August.   Do Y’all want a
hint, preliminary numbers indicate there is a high probability of at least
normal to above normal snow.  The statistics came in with a very low chance of
a crummy winter with little snow.  Of course it’s only July, there is more
information that will reveal itself over the next 3 months.

We are still about a month and a half out for receiving ski and snowboard equipment. But this news is getting us ready. I can’t wait to start renting wide skis and rocker snowboards! Aspen and Snowmass will crush it this year!
